Michael & Victor Lasuchin Retrospective
Bob Jackson Gallery
Born in Russia, the Lasuchin brothers, Michael (1923-2006) and Victor (1927-2013), emigrated to America after WWII and settled in Philadelphia. Here, they studied and taught art and began careers that earned each an international reputation. Both are known for their remarkable abstract screen prints. Michael was a master of the balance and juxtaposition of color and design. Victor eventually expressed his feelings and unique ideas through the computer, and was among the first to develop the fine art digital print. We thank Dorothy Roschen and Marina Kotsios for curating the show from their collections.
